Andalusia with the most beautiful gardens of Spain

Day 1: ARRIVAL ON THE COSTA BRAVA / MARESME. The afternoon is at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: COSTA BRAVA / MARESME, BARCELONA, VALENCIA - 399 km. In the morning we make a sightseeing tour in Barcelona, to get to know the main city sights such as the mountain of Montjuic, the Olympic Port, the Ramblas and the Sagrada Familia. After that, we will take a nice walk through the Art Nouveau-style designed Park Guell, a famous work of Antonio Gaudí. We go on to Valencia. We explore this Mediterranean city, including the Silk Exchange with its gardens, "El Patio de los Naranjos (courtyard of orange trees). In the heart of the city you can visit the Royal Gardens, with its beautiful roses and the gardens of Monforte, in neoclassical style. Dinner and overnight in the vicinity of Valencia.

Day 3: VALENCIA, ELCHE, GRANADA - 503 km. We continue to Elche. Here we visit the beautiful palm garden, which is protected by UNESCO. The Palm Garden characterizes the landscape of North Africa and was brought to Europe during the Arab occupation. The ancient irrigation system still works today and is of great interest. The final stage of today�s journey is Granada. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: GRANADA, SEVILLE - 256 km. In the morning we visit the fascinating Arabian Alhambra. Here we also admire the beautiful fairy gardens, gardens of the Generalife, the former rural settlement of the emirs in the XIII and XIV century, who ruled there at that time. In the afternoon we travel to the capital of Moorish Spain, SEVILLE. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: SEVILLE, CORDOBA - 138 km. In the morning we visit the historic centre: the Golden Tower, the old Mercantile Exchange and the Cathedral with the Giralda, the symbol of Seville. Stroll through the romantic old quarter of �Santa Cruz"and the "Maria Luisa� park. After that we will visit several gardens in the center of the city: the French-style garden with subtropical plants, and the Gardens of Catalina de Riera, which encircle the walls of the Alcazar. Then it's on to Cordoba. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: CORDOBA, ARANJUEZ, MADRID - 394 km. Here we will not miss the opportunity to visit the beautiful courtyards (patios) with a beautiful floral decoration and the masterpiece of Moorish architecture, the mosque with the impressive forest of columns and red and white arches. In the afternoon we drive further to Aranjuez. In this royal city we can admire numerous gardens: the baroque style garden from the eighteenth century, the public gardens along the Tagus River. The garden of the prince and the gardens on an island, situated in front of the palace, with several mythological scenes are of the most beautiful. Continuation of the journey to Madrid. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: MADRID. After breakfast, a city tour with a visit to the royal palace expects us. Here we take a walk through its beautiful gardens. The garden "Campo del Moro" was inspired by the gardens at Versailles, the Gardens of Sabatini were created in a classic style. The "El Retiro Park, was created so that it could be used the kings and their court. In these gardens were, thanks to Isabel II, large promenades, like that of the statues, were built. This park is an authentic open air museum. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: MADRID, ZARAGOZA, COSTA BRAVA / MARESME - 671 km. After breakfast we drive to Zaragoza. Here, during a short stay, we visit the famous Basilica of El Pilar. After that we drive to the Costa Brava. Dinner and overnight.

Day 9: BARCELONA, RETURN HOME. After breakfast unfortunately we have to say goodbye and return home.
