DAY 1 ARRIVE YANGON (COACH) ( - / L / D )

On your arrival to Yangon Airport, welcomed by guide and transferred to your hotel. Your tour begins after your lunch as an afternoon tour around Yangon start from the city center where Sule Pagoda located to see the bustling life of Yangon. A visit worthwhile to walk through the well-known Bogyoke (Scott) Market where varieties of items and jewelries gems shops are one of the attractions of Yangon. To call it a day of your visit in Yangon, we are going to the most magnificent and spectacular religious edifice, Shwedagon Pagoda before the sunset and enjoy the beauty stupa while it changes the shining of gold in different tones according to the radiant of the setting sun.

DAY 2 YANGON – KYAIKHTIYO (COACH) ( B / L / D )

After an early breakfast, drive to Kin Pun "base camp" ( 194km- 5hours ).Continue to Kyaikhtiyo, the Golden Rock, a huge boulder completely covered by gold leave sand delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. From Kin Pun, a steep and rough 11 km dirt road leads to the upper staging point, a journey made in open trucks, which are very crowded. From the "upper area ", travelers must at present walk the final stage, approximately 4 km up steep paths, which ascend some 500m to the Golden Rock. As an easier alternative to walking, visitors can be carried in sedan chairs by four porters at an extra cost of approximately US$ 10 p.p. On arrival, Lunch at local restaurant en route or at base camp and watch the beauty of sunset or dawn at this important pilgrimage site. Stay overnight in Kyaikhtiyo.

DAY 3 KYAIKHTIYO - BAGO – YANGON (COACH) ( B / L / D )

After breakfast, back to Yangon, via Bago [110 km/8 hours]. Bago sightseeing includes "Kanbawzathardi Palace" the famous palace of King Bayinnaung (1551-1581 A.D.) is being extensively excavated and some buildings are being rebuilt. "Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda" was originally built by the Mon to a height to 23 meters in the 8th century and was rebuilt higher several times until it finally reached its present 114 meter stature in 1954, the highest pagoda in Myanmar. "Shwethalyaung Pagoda" Built in 994 AD by King Mingadippa, It is 55 meters long and 16 meters high, another biggest reclining Buddha image in Myanmar built during 9th century. "Kyeik Pun Pagoda" It was built by King Dhamma Zedi in 1476 A.D, four gigantic Buddha images all in sitting posture facing the four cardinal points of the compass. After sightseeing, be continuous to Yangon. Arrive Yangon and transfer to hotel. Stay overnight at Yangon.

DAY 4 YANGON – MANDALAY (FLIGHT/COACH) ( B / L / D )

Known as the hub of Buddhism in Myanmar, Mandalay is a realm of stupas, monks and monastery. Take domestic flight to Mandalay < appr . 1:30 hrs > . The largest book made of marble stone slaps consist of 729 pages of Buddhist scripture awaits the readers or visitors at Kuthodaw Pagoda. Extended visit to one of the most interesting sites in Mandalay; Mahamuni Image-a bronze Buddha image castled during the lifetime of Buddha. Mandalay a city full of arts and crafts and supposed to be the only place making the gold leaf for all pagodas in Myanmar. The tour continues to Shwenandaw Monastery - noted for its exquisite wood carvings, craftsmen's workshop to see Kalaga tapestries being created. In the eveining visit the Reconstruction of Mandalay Royal Palace. A view of setting sun from the top of Mandalay Hill can help you to call it a day. Overnight at Hotel in Mandalay.

DAY 5 MANDALAY - MT. POPA – BAGAN (COACH) (B / L / D )

Check out from your hotel in Mandalay . Land tour to Bagan via Mt. Popa < appr. 6 hrs > . It is worth to see the ways of life via Myitha, Taungtha , Myingyan etc… After driving about 5 hrs, you will arrive to Mt. Popa which rose from the ground in a massive earthquake in 442 BC. Mt. Popa is famous as the abode of the Nats (Spirit Gods) and for its panoramic view of the local tropical region. Proceed to Bagan and on the way, we can visit a toddy palm juice production plant. Overnight in Bagan .

DAY 6 BAGAN ( COACH ) ( B / L / D )

Optional Hot Air Ballooning . At sunrise, you will glide over the Irrawady Plain over the thousands of temples and then over rustic rural scenery. Due to popular demand and limited seats, advance booking is strongly recommended. (operates from Oct through Mar) Sightseeing includes the most significant pagodas and temples of Bagan including Shwezigon Pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine, Gubyauk Gyi, a temple with superb murals of Jataka scenes; Khay Min Ga Temple, noted for its panoramic view of the area's numerous and Ananda Temple, with four standing Buddha images. In the afternoon, visit one of Myanmar's most treasured handicrafts, a lacquer ware craftsmen's workshop in nearby Myinkaba village. You will continue to Manuha Temple, built in the Mon style in 1059 and follow on to Nanbaya Temple, a unique sandstone monument said to have been the palace of King Manuha. Next you will explore the Myingaba Gu Byaukgyi Temple, a temple noteworthy for its mural paintings under the protection of UNESCO. Proceed to Shwesandaw Stupa to enjoy the amazing sunset over famous Ayeyarwaddy River .

DAY 7 BAGAN - HEHO – PINDAYA-KALAW (FLIGHT / COACH) ( B / L / D )

Morning after breakfast, transfer to airport to fly to Heho via Mandalay < appr. 1:30 hrs> .Upon arrival, drive to Pindaya. Travelling by car along the uphill and winding road over the Shan Plateau, though taking some few hours is interesting and well-worth taking. Visit Pindaya cave is a huge cavern where hundreds and thousands of Buddha images in various size and shape are installed since the 11th century. The journey continue to cool hill station Kalaw . Stay overnight there .

DAY 8 KALAW DAY RETURN TREKKING, DRIVE TO NYAUNG SHWE ( COACH ) ( B / L / D )

Today's highlight is trekking to Palaung Hills in Kalaw surrounding area and visit the hill tribes' villages in their colourful costumes. Depart your hotel around 7:00 a.m and you will be transferred to trekking point by car < appr. 20 mins > . You can discover about 2 Palaung villages who are living upon tea plantation and chee-root plantation . Tea-plantation of Palaung tribes is the most famous in Myanmar and they deliver tea-leaf to all over the country . Proceed by road to Nyaung Shwe [ appr. 2:30 hrs]. On arrival, board on a long traditional boat to your resort in Inlay Lake .

DAY 9 INLAY LAKE EXCURSION ( BOAT ) ( B / L / D )

Inle Lake, the second largest lake in Myanmar , located 900m above sea level and is home to unique one Leg-rower Intha people. If you are lucky, you can visit the colourful congregation in one floating village which is held in different villages every five days and attracts numerous ethnic minorities who converge from the surrounding villages to trade their goods. Excursion to beautiful and landscaping, flowering trees and settlements dotted on both sides of the canal by long traditional boat . We anchor to visit the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery with a beautiful collection of antique Buddha statues . Visit to the folating islands, floating markets and the rotating rural market are well-worth . The tour continues to study the art of black smith and floating tomato gardens . You may have a chance to take a nice photo with the long neck Padaung women in some shops in Inlay Lake.

DAY 10 HEHO - KYAING TONG ( FLIGHT / COACH ) ( B / L / D )

Leisure in the morning. Then, transfer to Heho airport for your bound flight to Kyaing Tong via Mandalay and Tachileik < totally appr. 2:30 hrs> . You will arrive Kyaing Tong around 15:00 . Visit the pottery village "Yan Gone" to observe the handicraft earthen pots of Shan tribe. Overnight in Kyaing Tong .

DAY 11 TREKKING TO WAN PAUK AND AKHU VILLAGES ( COACH / TREKKING) ( B / L / D )

After breakfast drive appr. 25 minutes to Palaung tribe village (Wan Pauk). The Palaung tribes are known locally as "Silver" Palaungs. A branch of the same tribe, locally called "Gold" Palaung, lives in Northern Shan State. Three hours hiking from there is Lahu Shi villages . Lahu Shi, Black Lahu and Red Lahu are the same tribes. Trekking through forests. Valleys and gorges are very fascinating. Back to Kyaing Tong and enjoy your lunch . After your lunch, proceed to "Akhu village" . The costume of the ladies of this tribe is simple : a wide sleeved short black jacket over a sarong of horizontal red stripes on black . Then, back to your hotel

DAY 12 KYAING TONG – LOIMWE DAY RETURN EXCURSION (COACH / TREKKING) ( B / L / D )

Morning drive to nearly village, Loimwe, 38km from Kyaing Tong. ( Once it was recreation center of British army officers.) The weather in the region is much colder than Kyaing Tong. Visit Akha village, see their ways of life and observe their traditional weaving industry. En route stop at hot spring and return back to Kyaing Tong. Overnight in Kyaing Tong.

DAY 13 KYAING TONG – YANGON ( COACH / FLIGHT ) ( B / L / D )

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit to the central market which bustles daily from 6 to 11:00 in the morning. The market offers products from China and Thailand, and also it has local traditional clothing, antique coins and other implements for sale making good souvenirs. Back to your hotel and check out . Then, you will be transferred to the airport to fly back to Yangon . End of this unique experience . Free and leisure .

DAY 14 DEPARTURE (COACH) (B / L )

Breakfast at the hotel . Then drive to Tooth Relic Pagoda and you have a chance to study Kalaywa Tawya Monastery, a monastery with high reputation consists of between 500 to 1000 young novices can be seen at the same time while they have their 2nd or the last meal of the day. It is very well-worth seeing .Depending upon the flight time, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight .
