Day 1:  Maputo  – Arriving at the airport you will be met by one of our guides and transferred to you hotel. A majestic colonial building overlooking the Bay of Maputo the Polana Hotel is situated in one of the most prestigious avenues of Maputo, ten minutes away from the city center . You can take a stroll in the landscaped gardens of the Hotel Polana, with an endless view over the Bay.  A tennis court is at the guest's disposal or pay a visit to the Polana Health Spa, enjoy the steam room, gymnasium and aerobics.  This famous hotel offers an ideal venue for both business and leisure travellers. Enjoy a fine a la carte dinner, a more informal buffet for lunch or dinner, a quick snack, or just a relaxing drink in the bar.
Maputo is an enchanting city of wide acacia lined avenues and tall buildings overlooking Maputo Bay and the Indian Ocean.  One of the city's more fascinating features is the remarkable wealth of architecture making it unique amongst Africa's cities. An afternoon city tour will give you the chance to experience the highlights of this fascinating city. Day 2 Maputo Elephant Reserve – Enjoying the early morning breeze we cross the Maputo Bay to Catembe and drive south to Salamanga with its impressive Hindu Temple. Crossing the Maputo and Futi rivers we enter the Maputo Elephant Reserve and head towards the coast. Enroute there is time to stop and view the wildlife and the extensive variety of birds found in this area. Elephant [est.200-300], crocodile, hippopotamus, red duiker, bushpig, vervet and samango monkeys all being spotted regularly. A leisurely lunch is served before making our way south to Ponta Mamoli.

Day 3-5: White Pearl resort   Ponta Mamoli – At Ponta Mamoli you can enjoy the private and secluded unspoilt beach, the bay a perfect spot for snorkelling, fishing, surfing and swimming.  If however, you prefer not to get sand between your toes, lounge on the deck next to the pool  sipping a cocktail just meters away from the bar and dining room.
The Ponta Mamoli Dive centre offers wonderful snorkelling and diving expeditions with 10 reefs within 8km's.  The dive sites are some of the best in the world.  The coral is untouched and in excellent condition, the fish life abundant.    Swimming with dolphins is also an option. The  bay is also a favourite for salt-water fly-fishing. November to March is Turtle season with laying usually finishing around January.

June through to October is also a good time to observe migrating Humpback whales off the Mozambique coast with whale sharks also being spotted frequently.
Land based activities include sunset cocktails at serene inland lakes, beach bon fires and hippo watching.  Adventurous horse trails, shell spotting and bird trails keep young and old amused.
Day 6 After a relaxed breakfast, there is time for an early morning dive or ride, before heading back to Maputo and your hotel.
Day 7  Transfer to Maputo International for your Onward flight or take up one of our many options to further explore Mozambique or the surrounding areas.

The quaint little town of Ponta do Ouro is situated in Southern Mozambique just 10 km from the South African border. The hustle & bustle of development, such as houses being restored to their former glory coupled with a good dose of laid back charm are what make this such an unforgettable destination.
In Ponta do Ouro you will be sure to find beautiful white beaches, dense dune forests, amazing diving and an ever-stretching azure sea. A very traditional open air market, several "cantinas" (little shops) and eager curio sellers will quench your thirst for shopping before you make your way to one of the rustic restaurants in town. Kaya Kweru resort in Ponta D'Ouro is just metres from the wide sandy beach and warm Indian Ocean. Guests can swim, snorkel, fish and surf amongst many other enjoyable activities or simply relax around the pool.

The resort has a lounge area and restaurant, barbeque area and a Sports Bar with satellite television. The rooftop patio is the place to be for lovely sea views and star gazing
