DAY 1 – THURSDAY – DUBLIN –BUSWELLS HOTEL – BB

Start at Dublin Airport and transfer to your city centre hotel. Today is all about relaxing after your long flight and meeting Dublin on your own terms, so we have partnered with the award winning and hands down best way of seeing our remarkable capital – the tremendous Hop On – Hop Off coach tour. You get to see all the city has to offer and pick and choose what you wish to explore in further depth including Trinity College, Guinness Storehouse, Christchurch Cathedral and the Old Jameson Distillery.

 

DAY 2 – FRIDAY –WATERFORD – ATHENAEUM HOTEL – DBB

WICKLOW MOUNTAINS DRIVING TOUR

Plunging into the green retreat that is Wicklow, you are drowned in vast sweeps of gorse, bracken and heather clad moors, bogs and mountains dotted with corrie lakes. From the picteuresque village of Enniskerry, you navigate the Military Road, doused in sheep and swashbuckling history. It takes you through the most remote and beautiful parts wonderful Wicklow. Vanish over the towering Sally Gap and enter the magical world of Glenmacnass, Glendalough and Glenmalure.

 

DAY 3 – SATURDAY- GLENGARIFF – GLENGARIFF HOTEL – BB

BLARNEY CASTLE

Warble your way to the top of the most famous Irish castle of them all – Blarney – plant a smacker on the stone perched atop of the fifteenth century fortification and gain the gift of eloquence!

 

DAY 4 – SUNDAY – DINGLE – DINGLE SKELLIG HOTEL – DBB

KILLARNEY NATIONAL PARK

Depart the Rebel County, tumble over the Cork & Kerry mountains and enter the Kingdom! Through lovely Kenmare and out onto the Ring of Kerry, the mighty Atlantic pounding just below your left shoulder. As far as the bizarrely named village of Sneem to explore the little known, little gem – Staigue Fort. Cutting sneakily back across the mighty Macgillycuddy Reeks, over Molls Gap and into the core of Killarney National Park – Ladies View, Torc Waterfall and Killarney Town itself for lunch on your own.

 

 

DAY 5 – MONDAY – DINGLE SKELLIG HOTEL – DBB

SLEA HEAD DRIVE

Dingle, what a wonderful place to wake! On the edge of the Slea Head Drive, once described by National Geographic as the most beautiful place on earth.

 

DAY 6 – TUESDAY – CASTLE DURROW– DBB

ADARE VILLAGE KING JOHN’S CASTLE

Have fun exploring King John’s Castle, enjoy magnificent views and imagine a Norman soldier’s life in this medieval fortress. Reach out and touch the past through a wide range of new technologies and specialist multi media techniques. Join in the living interpretation and re-enactment with costumed guides who reveal the secrets and scandals of castle life.

 

 

DAY 7 – WEDNESDAY – DUBLIN – BUSWELLS HOTEL – BB

NATIONAL STUD

Nowhere better symbolises all that is great about County Kildare, the beating heart of Ireland’s thoroughbred industry, than the stud, a unique attraction of outstanding natural beauty that is home to some of the most magnificent horses and sumptuous gardens to be found anywhere in the world. For well over 100 years, it has been a working stud farm, its central objective being to produce for Ireland thoroughbreds capable of being crowned champions at home and abroad The afternoon and evening is completely free to wander Dublin; your accommodation lies a stone’s throw from the main shopping thoroughfare of Grafton St. and from there is just a stretch of the legs to Temple Bar.

 

DAY 8 – TRANSFER TO AIRPORT
