Calcutta or Kolkata

Gateway to Eastern India, Calcutta or Kolkata is the capital of West Bengal and one of the world's largest cities. A city with teeming humanity, rich heritage, bustling streets and astonishing variety of facets. Though the place has its own share of problems, to its people the city is fascinating, bewitching and bewildering. Belur Math, Dakshineswar Temple, Dalhousie Square (BBD Bag), Howrah Bridge, Nicco Park (Jheel Meel), Science City and Vidyasagar Setu are some of the places of attraction in around Kolkata.

Darjeeling:

Situated on the foothills of the Himalayas at an altitude of 7,000 feet above sea level, Darjeeling is called the Queen of hills. Its awesome scenic beauty, verdant hills together with Mt Kanchenjunga leave one mesmerized. Among the places of attraction in the town are the Tiger Hill, Mall Road, the Shrubbery, Batasia Loop and War memorial, Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and the passenger Ropeway. The famous miniature Toy Train, now a world heritage site, is worth a ride.
