Day 1: Arrive to Bujumbura

On arrival be warmly received by our guide who will drive you to the hotel. Tour Bujumbura for half of the day, visit the cultural and snake museum, and tour the memorial, the city hall, Lake Tanganyika which is the most prominent attraction in the area, the Islam Culture Centre and the President’s Office. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.

Day 2: Bujumbura – Kibira

Visit the Kabira Forest National Park and enjoy a nature walk in the company of a guide. If time allows, visit the Memorial of the Explorers which is a massive rock in the outskirts of Bujumbura that commemorates the conference of Hanington with John Speke in 1871 who both where explorers.

Day 3: Today you will be escorted by our guide back to Bujumbura for your flight back home.
